That I have no doubt that it is only used to Confirm Prizes, but after the fifth time I update Account Details, I'm getting tired of it...

worth contacting Customer Service with details of the problem....
However, please be aware that after a while updating your contact details may become mandatory, otherwise you will no longer be able to access the games.
